Band bio SHAMBOL!CA is a guitar and keyboard driven, female dominated, four piece post punk band from Edinburgh. Their songs are inspired by their personal experiences of womanhood. Expect thoughtful, reflective, relatable lyrics with a humorous attitude that gets the audience excited. Brought together by an unsightly building of artists’ studios on London Road, first through Girls Rock School, they all came together from different creative backgrounds with their own unique set of abilities: Charlotte (she) - vocals and keyboard, a vegetarian who dabbles in taxidermy. Eliza (she) - vocals and guitar, writes and types text messages with her big toe pretty well. Jackie (she) - bass, developed a talent at fixing stuff with Bostik. Pete (he) - drums, rather good at hula hooping.
